So, Who Am I?
An ex….Chef, Baker, Educator, Academic, UK Resident, but you can call me Alison.
I should be living in Spain and renovating my lovely old house in a quiet village near Oria, Almeria Province.
My house in Spain is going through a complete renovation including demolishing the back half to rebuild!
So I should be there.
I should be writing and following my dream of setting up a Rural Retreat and School for Crafts, and of course, Baking!
Every opportunity I can I love to Bake, eat a little, and pass on the goodies to anyone who wants them, I am exceedingly popular, LOL
Is this so? Am I living my dream?
Well, I would be living in Spain with my 3 horses making my dream happen, and Baking. Unfortunately, life and lack of money just got in the way.
I did the classic building ‘no no’, I extended the planned renovations drastically!
Once the roof came off the back of my house, I could see so much more potential. I just needed to do this, and that….. after all it is so beautiful where I live. My house should be comfortable and well laid out too.
So what is the conclusion I have come to?
I must now work in the UK to earn enough money to pay for said renovations! My lovely horses are still in Spain on a friend’s ranch, I am not!
From this you can see how much I have to tell you and, of course, impart my knowledge of Baking, and Baking Ingredients.
This website will contain the bulk of information about Baking Ingredients, techniques, and recipes.
